Independence Day is almost here. And you know what that means – BBQs, food, booze, and more food. I can already feel my waistline expanding just by thinking about it!
Of course, guys can hit the gym immediately after to try and liberate the fat and rid themselves of those dreaded love handles (“hate handles” is more like it!). However, many of us don’t have the time and want a quick solution. What are we to do?
Male liposuction is a safe, fast, and effective technique to help men shape and contour their bodies, getting a more athletic and lean look. One of the most common areas for guys is the waist, but undesirable fat can also be removed from the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, chin, upper arms, cheeks, knees and neck.
Liposuction is a technique to help men shape and contour the body to give a more athletic, lean, and attractive physique. Dr. Steinbrech specializes in male liposuction in NYC and is proud to offer his patients his extensive experience and expertise. Liposuction is the single most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in the U.S. today. It sculpts the body by removing unwanted fat from male patients that have not responded to diet and exercise programs.
Liposuction removes undesirable fat from the abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. One of the most common areas for liposuction for our male patients is the waist, also known as “love handles”. Liposuction not only offers the opportunity to slim and contour areas of the body, but it also ensures that these areas will not accumulate fatty deposits in the future.
The liposuction procedure for men in New York begins with the injection of a solution composed of saline (salt water), a local anesthetic, and a small amount of adrenaline to decrease bruising and bleeding. Once this solution has been injected into the area planned for liposuction, the doctor proceeds with one of two different methods of liposuction currently approved by plastic surgeons: suction-assisted lipectomy (SAL) or ultrasonic-assisted lipectomy (UAL). In both methods, a tiny incision is made in a discreet place. In SAL, a cannula (small tube) is inserted and moved back and forth beneath the skin, breaking up the fat layer and suctioning it out. In UAL, ultrasonic energy is used to liquefy the fat before it is suctioned out with a cannula.
Dr. Steinbrech knows that all male patients are different, both in their body shapes and in what they wish to achieve with liposuction. Dr. Steinbrech takes as much time as necessary during every pre-operative consultation to learn what each patient wants liposuction to do for them, and to decide which technique is best.
Depending on the amount of fat being removed, the treatment for men may last from 1 to 5 hours in Dr. Steinbrech’s New York clinic, and the results are immediately visible.
So don’t feel bad about devouring those ribs on July 4th. Have no fear. Male Liposuction is here!
